This tree was started on Genes Reunited as a bit of fun, and is still a lot of  fun. If anyone has a criticism, or any comment whatsoever, Please, contact me,  I really get a kick out of knowing that a visitor finds it interesting, (or  boring) so please, (again), don't forget to sign the guestbook.     The Bevis side is Babs, my wife, one quarter Italian, and very proud of her  roots, and rightly so. One day we will find the link to descendants in  Benevento, and then the site will explode!
     The Payne side is me, Northampton born, with roots going back to London and  Kent, still a lot of research to do.
     Update:- May 10th 2009, well, winter has gone and my promise of sorting this site  out didn't happen, still lots of errors and please allow for  these, it will get done----one day. I have just added details of the marriage of  Biagio Pacitti and Kathleen Amelia Thoroughgood in 1897. Maybe we will be able to  trace further back in Italy.
     Update:- March 2nd 2010, Where does the time go! Our tree has lost some special  people over the last two years, Marie Thorne, after a long and brave battle. Bill  Bevis, after a short illness. Barbara Grace Paget, just days away from her 100th  birthday. Also Peter Bevis. Anyway, enough, life is good, let us all grab it in both  hands and have a great year.

Update:- April 12th 2010. I entered a request in an Italian Geneaology site for any info on  Biaggio Pacetti, and one day out of the blue an e-mail popped up from Betty Landimore, half  sister 
 to Loretta Paget, she was busy researching Lorettas' ancestry, amazing. Betty has helped me  with 
 lots of dates for the Paget brothers, and family news has been exchanged.

Update:- July 8th  2012.  Over 2 years since the last update!!! Disgraceful !!  Today we  enjoyed 
 a very pleasant afternoon celebrating the diamond anniversary of Don & Babs Bevis and Don's  90th 
 birthday, and met with family and friends seldom seen.So information to be gleaned and entered.

Update;- July 14th 2012.  Special thanks to Philip for a disc of Bevis family photos, some  of 
 them are unknowns to us all, so cannot add them to site, but I have added some which may need a  bit 
 of editing as to who's'who. I am always glad of input and any info.

Update:- June 2nd  2015. More photos added which came to me after we lost Beryl Begley (nee  Payne).
